Lovely to meet you. I’ve been crafting/decorating/glue gunning since way back when. I have the recorded VHS tapes of Martha Stewart Living episodes to prove it. I spend my days as a Creative Director at an advertising agency and my nights in my East Village, NYC apartment.
About this site
I created The Drop Stitch to bring voice to the crafts I’ve been making and gifting for years. It’s a potent combo of pop culture, crafting, and living aimed at inspiring you to crack a smile and break out the glitter.
The name The Drop Stitch was born on a snowy Saturday in February 2015. After describing my vision for a blog that took a low key, “do it for fun” approach to the often stuffy world of crafts, my friend Elizabeth asked “what do you call it when you miss a stitch knitting?” Drop Stitch! I also think it could work as my DJ name. I will keep you posted on that.
Let’s make stuff!
If you or your brand is interested in partnering with The Drop Stitch, I’d love to hear about it. We’re available for sponsored posts, collaborations, and side bar advertising.
